No-Scalpel Vasectomy

NSV is one of the most popular new techniques in procedural medicine. NSV practitioners and their patients experience:

  • Virtually Bloodless (puncture method)

  • Less Discomfort

  • Almost no risk of haematoma

  • Fewer side effects

  • Quicker healing

  • Promoted by World Health Organisation

Developed in China twenty years ago and proven on over 20 million men worldwide, NSV is fast becoming the world's standard vasectomy technique.

Product    Item No.  PU

Vas Fixation Clamp NSV-001 Ea
Vas Dissection Forceps - sharp tips NSV-002 Ea
Vasectomy Set - (one NSV-001 & one NSV-002) NSV-003 Set

Procedure:

  1. Using the Vas Fixation Clamp (NSV-001)
The open ring clamp is then pushed down at a 90° angle over the skin to trap the width of the vas between the ring forceps and the underlying surgeon’s finger. The ring clamp is then closed and locked in place.
  1. Insert the Vas Dissection Forceps (NSV-002)

The dissecting forceps are then opened with the surgeon’s dominant hand; the innermost blade should be used to pierce the scrotal skin directly over the vas. The ring clamp (NSV-001) can then be used to secure the exposed vas outside the scrotum.

  1. Use the Vas Fixation Clamp (NSV-001) to hold loop and strip fascia.

After outward exposure of the vas, the outermost tine of the dissecting forceps (NSV-002) is used to spear or secure the vas. The handles are then rotated 180°. As the rotation occurs, the ring clamp is gently released by the opposite hand, and the dissecting forceps are raised vertically to pull the vas free of the surrounding fascia and out of the scrotum.

  1. After cautery, the prostatic vas is then completely transected and allowed to retract.
  1. Tie the ends with clips or cauterize and return to the Scrotum.
